Brand Identity for a Start-up

Zeitgeist recently made a conscious decision to encourage and define any Indian start-up that lacked an identity and needed one.  Much to our delight, we were approached by a company that had just started empowering women by educating and enabling them to earn a living through repurposing old fabric into beautiful, vibrant linen.  This start-up was conscious and eco-friendly – pillars that Zeitgeist also aligns with.  Though we were faced with the pressure of a two-week deadline, the Zeitgeist team felt the need to deliver a wholesome brand.


Within the stipulated two weeks, we came up with the unique name ‘Miko’ and developed a logo that represented vibrancy and joy – exactly what the brand exudes through its products and purpose. We chose a bold and modern typography, supported by a warm and inviting colour palette – representative of modern India, yet true to its roots.
