Inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi, this hotel reception area has been designed to highlight the beauty in leaving things the way they are found.

The natural cracks and fissures of the beautiful Statuario marble on the floor and countertop, the use of it in its natural form, as is from a quarry, the unfinished driftwood base and the distressed wall all allude to the concept of embracing imperfection.

The space is thought provoking and designed to encourage contemplation and imagination.
